Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Machine Design with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5/10, and pre-eligibility qualification of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
Technical AssistantFirst Class Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
Scientific AssistantFirst Class B.Sc. with Chemistry as main subject from a recognized University/Institution. OR First Class Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography) / Visual Arts (Cinematography) from a recognized University/Institution.
Library Assistant ‘A’Graduation in First Class from a recognized University/Institution.
Radiographer-AFirst Class Diploma in Radiography course of not less than two years duration from a College/Institution recognized by State/Central Government.
Technician ‘B’SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trade.
Draughtsman ‘B’SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade from NCVT.
CookPass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.

Selection Process

Selection process for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ :

  1. Stages: Written TestInterview.
  2. Written Test: Checks theoretical and practical knowledge from the prescribed syllabus.
  3. Shortlisting for Interview: Based on Written Test performance, usually in 1:5 ratio (minimum 10 candidates per category).
  4. Final Selection:
    • 50% weightage to Written Test marks.
    • 50% weightage to Interview marks.

Selection process for Technical Assistant/Scientific Assistant/Library Assistant ‘A’/ Technician –B/ Draughtsman-B

Written Test: Designed to test both theoretical and practical knowledge, covering the breadth and depth of the syllabus.

Shortlisting for Skill Test:

  • Based on Written Test performance.
  • Candidates shortlisted category-wise in 1:5 ratio (minimum 10 candidates).

Skill Test: Conducted in batches according to results and number of vacancies.

Selection process for Nurse ‘B’, Radiographer-A& Cook:

Written Test: Tests theoretical and practical knowledge covering full syllabus (breadth & depth).

Shortlisting for Skill Test: Based on Written Test marks.

Skill Test:

  • Conducted on a ‘Go–No-Go’ basis (qualifying only).
  • Marks not counted for final selection.

Final Selection: Based on Written Test marks of candidates who qualify the Skill Test.

Empanelment (Final List):

  • Prepared in order of Written Test marks as per vacancies.
  • In case of a tie, academic marks of the required qualification will decide rank.

Selection process for Fireman ‘A’:

  1. Stages: Written Test → Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
    • Go–No-Go basis (qualifying only).
    • Marks not counted for final selection.
  3. Final Selection: Based on Written Test marks of candidates who qualify PET and DME.
  4. Empanelment: Ordered by Written Test marks.
  5. Tie-breaker: If Written Test marks are equal, academic marks of essential qualification decide rank.

Selection process for Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’

The mode of Selection will be Written Test and Skill Test.. The Skill Test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in Skill Test will not be considered for selection
